These 1st expansion cylinders (penis cylinders) are sold individually and are made from durable medical grade acrylic, these thick gauge cylinders can withstand punishment with years of flawless performance. The quick disconnect is the standard cylinder disconnect used throughout this industry allowing compatibility with various other manufacuter's handpumps sold by Pumptoys, Monster-Tube, Vacutech, Boston Pumpers and many many more. The full retail cost for a cylinder is $69 but is offered at the Zoinkerz Store for only $43 -- a $26 savings to you.

We found two drawbacks.

First, these cylinders do not come with any gasket to be placed between the body and the cylinder. More lubricant is needed to maintain an airtight seal. A universal silicone seal can be purchased if plastic to body contact is not for you.

A comparable cylinder WITH a seal is the VelSeal from Pumptoys. A cylinder like the Velseal does not require as much lube and the trimming of pubic hair becomes less important to obtain an unusually flawless seal.

Second, we found small airbubbles in the base of the cylinders caused during the manufacturing process. This small defect appear to be an intermittent problem and does not pose any complications in the operation and use of this product.

Conclusion
Dr Joel Kaplan cylinders are by far the #1 choice for beginner pumpers for the low cost but with most all the benefits of professional grade equipment.
